Ormer ICT wanted to help its people grow—not just behind the screens, but also in front of an audience. So together with Debatrix, they launched an intensive, hands-on training program for five colleagues. The goal? Sharpen their skills and show future team members and clients how serious Ormer ICT is about professional growth and top-tier service.

One major event was looming on the calendar: the ABN AMRO Open tennis tournament in early 2025. Ahead of the matches, Ormer ICT was hosting several round table sessions at Ahoy, tailored for potential partners. These presentations had to be rock solid—both the company pitch and the tech talks. But here’s the kicker: how do you keep your audience engaged when they’re already buzzing with pre-game excitement?

Enter the high performance speakers track. Led by Lars Duursma—founder of Debatrix and internationally recognized presentation coach—a hand-picked crew of Ormer ICT professionals took their skills to the next level.

These Orators learned how to turn complex topics into crystal-clear stories. They worked on structuring their message and mastered techniques to hook their audience with bold openings, vivid metaphors, and punchy conclusions. No fluff. Just impact.

For the Ahoy round tables, that meant cleverly connecting IT secondment to tennis. How? With the power of partnership. Like the tennis player who couldn’t clinch first place in singles but reached the top spot after going doubles. With a partner who advises, warns, and thinks with you about your team—advantage, you.
